WHAT TO EXPECT

We’re excited to welcome you to the 2026 Chutzpah! Festival. Here are some helpful things for you to know:

Code of Conduct

All attendees of the festival must abide by our Code of Conduct. This document talks about the behaviours that we expect everyone attending Chutzpah! to follow to foster a safe, welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, with clear expectations for conduct.

By registering for any show or event, or by entering the event space, you agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct. Chutzpah! also requires that its team, contractors, suppliers, contributors, artists, and volunteers follow this Code of Conduct. which you accepted when purchasing your tickets. Please share this with any guests, as by attending the event, they will also implicitly accept the Code. 

When you arrive, please note that we will have security present who may conduct visual/physical checks of your bags/person. Please treat this like you're attending a sports event and cannot bring anything in. 

This Code of Conduct seeks to address audience and guests’ behaviours at Chutzpah! events. We respect that there is a difference between feeling uncomfortable and being unsafe. We also understand that many hold differing perceptions of personal safety. Our goal is to create great experiences in an inclusive environment, with consideration and respect for everyone. Help us to uphold these values of inclusion and mutual respect by being mindful of how you take up space and by treating everyone with kindness. Failing to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct may result in being removed from the performance.
