A Message About Safety and Security at Chutzpah!

The safety of our audiences, staff, and artists is our top priority. We will always act in a proactive, abundantly cautious manner when it comes to community security. We work closely with the JCC and the community director of security, as well as the Vancouver Police Department and the RCMP to provide assessment, protection, and rapid response. Please see our full statement here.

Due to our proactive approach to security, only ticketed patrons will be admitted into the facility. Kindly leave large bags at home and be prepared to present your bag to security for inspection. Have your tickets ready when you arrive at the theatre - they can be printed out or displayed on your phone. Please see the Will Call desk for assistance. JCC Members may show their ID badge to enter the facility directly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Please note that all cellphones and other mobile devices must be silenced and tucked away during performances. No use of devices, including photography or video, is permitted during performance.

Box Office Services

Our Box Office staff looks forward to assisting you with your ticket purchase. Contact us at 604-257-5145 or at nrt@jccgv.bc.ca

Outside of primary festival season, our box office line is staffed Monday-Friday, 10am to 3pm

Performances:

For evening performances, the Box Office will generally be open 1 hour before the performance begins.

Messages may be answered outside of official box office hours, but we cannot guarantee immediate response.

Gift Vouchers:

Gift vouchers in the amount of your choice are now available so you can share the joy of Chutzpah! Vouchers can be purchased through our ticketing pages or by calling the Box Office at 604-257-5145.

Don’t see your tickets? Please check your junk mail folder before contacting the Box Office. Many patrons find their “missing” tickets there. Seat numbers are printed in bold brackets next to the name of the show.

New! Choose Your Own Seats!

You asked for it and the Chutzpah! Festival delivered! Now, with our new ticketing system, you can select and reserve your own seats for most shows. Should you need any help or have special seating needs, kindly send any special requests to our Box Office. Wheelchair and other accessible seating is available.

And no need to print out tickets or wait for anything to arrive in the mail. You can simply show us your ticket confirmation e-mail when you arrive at the theatre and our friendly Front of House team will help you find your seats.

Enjoy Our Amenities

The Rothstein Theatre lobby has been upgraded with a new box office counter and bar with wheelchair-accessible service counters. Plus, our lounge is outfitted with comfortable seats and cafe tables where you are invited to enjoy a beverage or snack before your show. Check out this year’s specialty cocktail! Feel free to bring your refreshments into the theatre with you. We appreciate your assistance in placing your empty containers in the recycling bins as you exit. Please note that all food and beverage items must be consumed within the theatre and theatre lobby areas and must not be brought out into the JCC lobby area.

Parking

The parking lot adjacent to the Jewish Community Centre is available for visitors to the Chutzpah! Festival. This is a pay parking lot managed by Diamond Parking and requires payment at all times. Please ensure you have paid for your parking via the machine located at the building entrance, by app, or by phone prior to entering. The Chutzpah! Festival and the JCC are not responsible for any charges or fines incurred. Free street parking is available in the surrounding areas.
